PM Scholarship Yojana: Under the PM Scholarship Scheme, a scholarship of up to ₹ 25000 will be provided to the students every year.

Applications have been started for the scholarship in 2022 – 2023
The purpose of this scheme started by the Central Government and the State Government is to benefit all the children of the country who are related to paramilitary forces, railway personnel, ex-servicemen, coast guard, families killed in terrorism and Naxalite attacks.
PM scholarship will be provided to the children belonging to such families. This scheme has been formed to educate the children of these families.

PM Scholarship Yojana will be available in 2 way

Scholarship will be provided in two ways through this scholarship scheme

First: The Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare will be given by the Central Sainik Board Secretariat, Ministry of Defense.
Second: Scholarship will be given under Electronics and Information Technology.

How much scholarship will be given

If the student is a girl, then she will be given ₹3000 per month
If the student is a boys will be given ₹2500 per month.
Applications have started for this scheme which will continue till May.

who will apply for pm scholarship yojana

The Central Sainik Board Secretariat,
Ministry of Defence,
Department of Ex-Servicemen Welfare,
Government of India will provide scholarship for the children of their ex-servicemen,
ex-Coast Guard personnel and their wives who have become widows.
The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology and the Government of India together will provide the amount of scholarship for the children of the policemen martyred in the Central Armed Police Forces Assam Rifles Naxal terrorist attacks.

Eligibility criteria for pm scholarship yojana

Under this scheme, those students who have been admitted in the first year can apply

But the students who have taken admission in lateral entry or integrated course cannot apply.

It is necessary for the applicant that he/she should be the child of Ex-servicemen or Coast Guard personnel.

The applicant student must have obtained more than 60% marks in Diploma or Graduation.

Students who are getting education from second year onwards will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Children of paramilitary forces and other citizens will not get the benefit of this scheme.

Students having Master’s degree course will not be considered eligible.

Students who are doing BTech, MBBS, BDS, BBA, BCA, B Pharma etc. courses from recognized educational institutions of UGC and Council of Technical Education will be considered eligible for this scheme.

Student not eligible for PM Scholarship yojana

Candidates with distance education will not get any benefit of this scheme.

No scholarship will be provided to the students for foreign studies under the scheme.

Students having Master’s degree course will not be considered eligible.

A student can take advantage of this scheme for only one course

The selection process of PM scholarship is divided into 5 sections

2-Children of disabled ex-servicemen and coast guards in military and guard service incapable of terrorist activities

3- Children of soldiers who died during military and coast guard service

4- Children of servicemen disabled during Army and Coast Guard service

5- Children of ex-servicemen who have received gallantry awards
